Kennesaw has a past surrounded with railroad history and was the staging ground for the Great Locomotive Chase on April 12, 1862. The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History is located downtown just off Main Street and is the current display location for The General, the locomotive that play the key role in the Great Locomotive Chase.
Wether you are hiking and exploring over at Kennesaw Mountain, riding skateboards at Swift Cantrell Park or doing a little shopping in downtown, Kennesaw has a little bit for everyone!
